Job Description:

SK Siltron CSS has a unique opportunity at our Bay City, MI site for a Process Development Intern for the summer of 2025. 

 

Project Summary:

Throughout the time at SK Siltron CSS, the intern will complete a project that will provide them with new knowledge and expertise, as well as helping them to reach CSS goals and objectives. Currently, doping tripe analysis is critical for 200mm R&D and is very tedious. The intern would be developing an automated analysis computer code to make this process more efficient. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify current problems and root cause and discover potential factors
  • Establish and implement improvement plans
  • Develop an automated process for converting axial section scanner images into fully parametrized description of the growth front shape evolution during growth.

 

Physical Requirements: 

S-Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Sophomore or later student in B.S program for Industrial engineering, Chemical, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical or Engineering related degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with MS office
  • Python coding experience is preferred.
