Legal Research Assistant – AI Policy & Regulation (Part-time)

Location: Nashville, TN (In-Person)

Role Description This part-time, in-person role in Nashville, TN is for a Legal Research Assistant specializing in AI Policy & Regulation. The Legal Research Assistant will conduct comprehensive legal research, analyze recent developments in AI policy and regulation, and draft clear and insightful policy overviews. The role involves collaborating closely with legal experts and educators, directly contributing to the advancement of AI-focused legal education and strategic initiatives.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Located in Nashville and able to work in-person in Nashville 
  • Rising 1L, 2L, 3L, or recent law graduate with a strong academic record
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated interest in AI policy, regulation, and emerging technologies
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Previous experience or coursework related to AI, technology law, or policy is a plus
