About the Job
We are looking for an IT Internal Auditor to join our team as an intern for the Summer/ Fall 2025!
As an IT Internal Audit intern, you will:
- Learn about Encore’s multiple lines businesses and evaluate and document their IT processes and controls
- Learn about regulations that Encore and its businesses are subject to
- As part of our Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance program, and under the supervision of seasoned Internal Auditors, (1) perform IT controls testing, including Tests of Design (TOD) of Controls, Tests of Operating Effectiveness, and testing remediation of previously identified deficiencies, and (2) assist the Internal Auditors with our Quarterly Certification of internal controls and user access review.
- Assist on other IT, Financial, Operational and Compliance Audits as needed, while learning to perform internal audits and applying the International Professional Practices Framework and Standards from The Institute of Internal Auditors.
- Assist on Special Projects and other audit-related tasks as needed.
