Remote Position - College Credit
Time Commitment: 12 Months | 6-10 hours/week (Seasonal/Temporary) Flexible schedule based on school requirements.
General Description:
The Outreach + Curriculum Lead Intern will lead a team of creative, passionate Seasonal Outreach + Curriculum Interns at Digital4Good. The person who fills this role will be responsible for curriculum creation, revision, and digitization, as well as management of committee meetings. The ideal candidate must have expert communication and leadership skills, experience with educational work, and at least 6 months of experience volunteering with Digital4Good.
Duties:
- Oversee all Seasonal Outreach + Curriculum Team projects and due dates
- Plan and organize quarterly agenda topics for the Steering Committee Meeting
- Develop innovative curricula aligned with national and state standards for digital citizenship education
- Design and facilitate program evaluation
- Revise and expand existing curricula and support curriculum translation project
- Develop programming for school clubs
- Keep abreast of statewide and national issues in social media education
- Provide program coordination in collaboration with local and statewide organizations
- Maintain clear communication with team members on status of assigned project(s) through weekly meetings with the team and supervisor
- Attend quarterly Advisory Steering Committee
Learning Objective/Outcomes:

- Identify key points of ISTE Standards for digital citizenship in education (as they relate to building impactful curricula)
- Implement best practices for effective program evaluation
- Execute proper Project Management
- Research and Document new educational materials & plans for different class levels

- Mentoring and networking opportunities with outreach + curriculum development professionals
Evaluation:
- Outreach: Translate material for at least 1 existing curriculum or course
- Curriculum Development: Revise or expand at least 1 existing curriculum or course
- Commitment: Participate in weekly meetings and check-ins (Minimum of 75% attendance)
- Timeliness and Organization: Track projects and meet all deadlines, or communicate with supervisor before setting new deadlines
- Brand Integrity: Maintain organization’s brand consistency by using brand voice and designated assets in public-facing communications
- Engagement: Accumulate points for engaging with organizational social media pages, attending workshops, attending work events, participating in marketing video/photo, filling out survey, and finishing a project/campaign
