Our latest app, Moonleaping, helps children fall asleep more easily using engaging animations, soothing sounds, and sleep science-backed techniques. We’re looking for someone to help amplify our voice and make sure the world knows about it.

Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic and media-savvy PR & Outreach Coordinator to drive visibility for our Moonleaping app. Your mission: get us featured, shared, talked about, and trusted—especially among parenting communities, digital wellness spaces, and educational media.

Key Responsibilities

Media Outreach: Research and pitch to journalists, bloggers, podcasts, and publications focused on parenting, sleep wellness, tech, and education

Influencer Collaborations: Identify and coordinate partnerships with parent influencers, wellness experts, and family-focused creators

Press Kit Management: Create and maintain a polished press kit including app screenshots, bios, feature lists, and news updates

Event Promotion: Assist in promoting virtual launches, webinars, or app-related events

PR Campaigns: Develop and execute campaigns for product launches, app updates, or seasonal initiatives

Content Creation Support: Work with our team to draft press releases, outreach emails, and social teasers

Tracking & Reporting: Maintain a contact database and track outreach results, media coverage, and engagement metrics

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or influencer outreach

Strong network or familiarity with parenting, lifestyle, and wellness media

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A passion for storytelling and connecting mission-driven products with the right audiences

Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-moving startup environment

Comfortable using platforms like Muck Rack, LinkedIn, Canva, or Mailchimp

Nice to Have

Background in mobile apps, health tech, or children’s products

Experience running PR for a mobile app launch

Familiarity with ASO or app review platforms
