Finance Intern (FP&A)

Position Summary: 

The Finance department is seeking an intern to join the team for summer 2025. This position provides a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in corporate FP&A activities including monthly and quarterly consolidation, reporting processes, stakeholder collaboration, data analysis, and more. This internship provides an outstanding opportunity to engage in the corporate environment while working across multiple global industries. This is a paid position and will work onsite at Dover’s Corporate Headquarters in Downers Grove, IL.

 

Internship Objectives:

  • Support segment financial planning & analysis monthly and quarterly consolidation and reporting processes.
  • Analyze operating company and segment financial data to provide insights, collaborate with key stakeholders, and recommend go-forward processes.
  • Gain experience with Dover’s financial consolidation tool, OneStream, and utilize for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Develop functional and cross-functional relationships within Corporate and across Dover’s Operating Companies.

                                                                                                                                                                       

Qualifications/Requirements/Desired Characteristics:

  • Current undergraduate student working toward a degree in business, finance, or other related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interact well with colleagues of various experience, including senior management.
