HR Internship

Overview:

Looking for an internship while you are home from college? Do you enjoy having a range of different responsibilities in your position? Look no further, Micro Gauge has a great opportunity for a college student who is motivated who can handle a fast pace environment who can help with a variety of different projects on our HR department.

This is a part time or full time position with a 40 hours a week HR internship. Starting wage $18 per hour paid weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Intern will be primarily responsible for the support of the administration and coordination of HR projects/activities.
  • Assist in database management and analysis to align with business metrics.
  • Foster innovation by generating and implementing new ideas to address organizational needs and challenges.
  • Rolling out training software in a manufacturing environment.
  • Assist departments as needed.
  • Special projects.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work safely.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Human Resources (HR), Business Administration, or Law (MLIR, MSHR, MBA, or JD).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and manager engagement

Education and/or Experience:

  • College credits or high school diploma or equivalent; or
  • 1 year of office work and/or basic admin experience; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
