Overview:

Looking for an internship while you are home from college? Do you enjoy having a range of different responsibilities in your position? Are you the type of person who likes to stay active during your workday? Are you looking for the chance to learn so much about HR and Manufacturing? Look no further, Micro Gauge has a great opportunity for a college student who is motivated who can handle a fast pace environment who can help with a variety of different projects on our HR department.

This is a part time or full time position with a 40 hours a week HR internship. Starting wage $18 per hour paid weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Intern will be primarily responsible for the support of the administration and coordination of HR projects/activities.
  • Assist in database management and analysis to align with business metrics.
  • Foster innovation by generating and implementing new ideas to address organizational needs and challenges.
  • Rolling out training software in a manufacturing environment.
  • Assist departments as needed.
  • Special projects.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work safely.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Human Resources (HR), Business Administration, or Law (MLIR, MSHR, MBA, or JD).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and manager engagement

Education and/or Experience:

  • College credits or high school diploma or equivalent; or
  • 1 year of office work and/or basic admin experience; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
