Hourly Rate $19.00 (Undergraduate)
Overview of Department:
The Department of Diversity and Civil Rights team support the execution of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives aligned with the organization's strategy, working with stakeholders for smooth implementation. The successful candidate will assist with Employee Resource Group (ERG) engagement, track its effectiveness, and help create reports on outcomes for senior leadership. They will support the execution of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives aligned with the organization's strategy, working with stakeholders for smooth implementation. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with ERG leaders to coordinate events, monitor engagement metrics, and contribute to reporting efforts.
Responsibilities:
- • Assist in streamlining internal Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct research on best practices in diversity and inclusion to inform policy and program development.
• Support the implementation of D&I initiatives that align with the organization’s overall D&I strategy.
• Collaborate with D&I and ERG leaders to coordinate events, initiatives, and communication efforts.
• Track ERG program effectiveness and engagement metrics.
• Assist in preparing ERG-related reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Research and compile reports on emerging Diversity and Inclusion trends and workplace inclusion strategies.
• Develop recommendations for best practices in Diversity and Inclusion programs and policies.
• Collect and analyze feedback from employees and stakeholders to improve Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
Projects:
- Collaborate with D&I and ERG leaders to coordinate events, initiatives, and communication efforts.

Required Qualifications:
The potential candidate should have:
1. A strong interest in equal opportunity, diversity and inclusion, with an understanding of workplace Diversity and Inclusion principles.
2. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
3. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and engage with diverse groups.
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience in data analysis or survey tools being a plus.
Required Education:
- Matriculated in an undergraduate program in good standing with at least 2.5 GPA
- Major(s) Preferred: Education, Gender Studies, International Relations, Social Work, Law, Psychology, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
