Position Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented MP&L Intern to join our manufacturing team, specializing in the production of chillers for data centers. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will support various aspects of manufacturing, planning, and logistics to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of production activities to meet customer demands and production targets.
  • Support inventory management by tracking and analyzing inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate the movement of materials and finished goods, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to production performance, inventory levels, and logistics operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to support overall manufacturing goals.
  • Help maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory transactions, and logistics operations.
  • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices to improve workflow and reduce waste.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing, planning, and logistics processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
