About the Role:
Swing Phi is seeking a curious and analytical Economic Research & Content Analyst Intern to help shape our public-facing insights. This role is perfect for students passionate about financial markets, economics, and breaking down complex ideas into accessible, engaging content. You will research macroeconomic trends, company earnings, and market-moving events — then help turn that research into compelling content across our platform and social media.
What You’ll Do:
- Track and summarize real-time market trends, macroeconomic events, and earnings reports
- Write concise, engaging posts and research briefs for Swing Phi’s social media and blog
- Collaborate with our data team to support articles with visuals, charts, or quick stats
- Assist with market sentiment analysis, highlighting key developments and implications
- Translate economic research into content for a general and investor-savvy audience
- Build a voice and tone that makes financial knowledge more accessible
Qualifications:
- Completed at least 2 years of a Bachelor's program in Economics, Finance, Journalism, or related field
- Strong writing skills — especially when explaining complex topics clearly
- Interest in markets, economic indicators, and financial news
- Familiarity with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or basic data visualization
- Bonus: Knowledge of Python, R, or any experience creating Twitter/LinkedIn threads or blogs
