Product Marketing Intern (Year-Round)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Product Marketing Intern to add to the team!  We are looking for an intern who is  passionate about leveraging data-driven insights to enhance product positioning, customer engagement, and market success in the automotive industry. This internship will allow you to gain hands-on experience in executing data-driven marketing initiatives, optimizing product performance, and contributing to the overall success of a product in a competitive market landscape. You will possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, track KPIs, and identify market trends to support strategic decision-making. 

 

Seeking a candidate who is available for a year-round internship working full-time throughout the summer and part-time throughout the school year pending class schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities & Activities:

Performance Tracking: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), providing data-driven recommendations to optimize product success.

Reporting: Extract, synthesize and distribute various monthly reporting to key stakeholders

System Approval Support: Manage and track VDOC submissions for approval, ensuring timely validation and follow-up with relevant departments (e.g., Finance) for requests such as samples, invoices, and credit notes.

Pricing & Revenue Analysis: Support pricing system maintenance and strategic recommendation, Create customer load sheets and support the sales team with pricing maintenance.

Forecasting & Logistics Follow-Up: Actively monitor stock levels, with a focus on fast-moving products and new product launches, ensuring alignment with market demand.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, logistics, customer service, product management, and marketing teams to align product strategies with business objectives.

Slow moving depreciation: Using monthly data provided by Finance, work with Logistics and Sales depts to implement actions related to depreciation as well as components. Monthly review/actions related to the stock/components

Market Research & Analysis: Conduct competitive benchmarking, monitor industry trends, and analyze customer insights to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.

Customer Segmentation & Targeting: Utilize data analytics to refine audience targeting and improve product adoption strategies differentiated by channel.

 

What You Should Have:

Currently a student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

 Proficient in Advanced Excel to optimize product performance evaluation.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, effectively working cross-functionally .With a keen interest in product lifecycle management, go-to-market strategies, pricing optimization, and customer experience enhancement.
