Want to help run a real event and build serious marketing and operations experience along the way? Just Between Friends (JBF) Livonia/Novi is looking for a Summer/Fall 2025 intern to support the planning, marketing, and on-the-ground execution of our pop-up kids’ consignment event.
This is a for-credit, unpaid internship that’s mostly remote, with flexible hours and hands-on involvement during the sale itself (mid-August–early October). Perfect for students in marketing, communications, business, event planning, fashion merchandising, or nonprofit management.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and schedule marketing emails in Constant Contact
- Plan and post social media content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Support email and phone communications with community partners and event participants
- Help draft event floor plans and equipment logistics, and assist in executing those plans at the venue
- Contribute to outreach efforts with local businesses, daycares, and parent groups
- Support consignor check-in, merchandising, and customer experience during the event weekend
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong written communication and social media skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines independently
- Interest in marketing, event planning, and community engagement
- Availability for ~5–10 hrs/week remotely, plus on-site participation during event setup and sale
