Design Engineer

What You’ll Do:

  • Design clean, user-friendly interfaces for web (responsive for teachers and students)
  • Translate UI/UX wireframes into functional, polished frontend components
  • Collaborate with product, backend, and learning science leads (that’s us!)
  • Build using modern tools (React, TailwindCSS, TypeScript or JavaScript)
  • Maintain design consistency across features while evolving the design system
  • Contribute ideas — we love people who think beyond the ticket

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least college student 
  • Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS and a frontend framework (React or TS preferred)
  • Experience with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD
  • A good eye for visual design (colors, spacing, typography, micro-interactions)
  • Bonus: experience working on products for kids, teachers, or edtech
