Organizational Effectiveness Strategic Projects & Advanced Analytics Intern
This is a strategic individual contributor intern role reporting to the Head of Organizational Effectiveness, Organizational Design & Change Management. This person will be ideally located in the Airgas corporate offices in Radnor, PA, but open to candidates in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Eastern Midwest areas as remote. Some travel may be required to support projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data and Analytics
Gather data through a number of sources to assess current state and help identify potential areas for improvement
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns impacting organizational effectiveness
Research best practices in organizational development data analysis
Organizational Effectiveness Improvement:
Provide support to projects aligned with cluster, regional and group strategy
Propose methods and KPIs to assess performance
Perform regular internal and external benchmarking including the monitoring and analyzing of approaches that can bring the greatest value to the organization.
Development of organizational effectiveness & change management
Support change management initiatives leveraging our change management methodology and approach (PROSCI ADKAR & 3-Phase)
Recommend change management interventions and approaches based on a structured approach to change.
Support to Customers
Provide project management support to drive projects to successful completion
Build credibility through your commitments and actions. Build brand and be viewed as a trusted advisor and coach to HR and business leaders
Build strong relationships with leaders by providing guidance and consultation
Viewed as a doer and not just an order taker. Role will identify gaps and then work to fill those gaps with innovative and creative solutions.
JOB INTERACTION NETWORK
INTERNAL
Role will interact with senior leaders across the various functional areas.
Role will support presentations to CEO, COO and other senior/C-Suite leaders as required
EXTERNAL
Role will gain exposure to working with Vendors and SI Partners
Required Qualifications And Competencies
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related degree field as a minimum required; Someone pursuing an MBA or Master's degree in HR, I/O Psychology, or related business field is highly preferred.
Minimum GPA of a 3.0 if currently enrolled as an undergrad. Minimum GPA of a 3.5 if currently enrolled in an MBA or graduate program.
Prior experience in HR as a business partner desired
Prior experience supporting change management initiatives desired
Project management experience desired
Desire a systems thinker who can link various initiatives across functional teams and areas
Desire a person skilled in presentations and group facilitation
Seeking a team player with a strong appetite for learning
Seeking a person who has the ability to work independently and as part of a high performing team
Seeking candidates with a strong service orientation and sense of urgency. Must be able to work well under pressure and be flexible in adapting solutions to changing situations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
Ideal candidates will work full-time through the upcoming summer and then on a part-time basis throughout the fall. If the candidate can work full time in the fall while attending school, that would be highly preferred.
