Position Summary

We are seeking a Marketing & Product Intern currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Product Management, Communications, or a related field. This unpaid internship is designed for individuals who are hungry to learn, innovate, and take ownership of marketing and product initiatives from strategy to execution.

 

This is more than an internship—it's a potential pathway to becoming our future Marketing Director. You’ll work closely with the founders, defining our go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and community-building efforts. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing strategies across digital channels (social media, email, content, etc.)

Craft product messaging and value propositions aligned with customer needs

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine positioning

Assist in creating go-to-market plans, launch campaigns, and growth strategies

Build and engage community partnerships (local influencers, neighborhood groups, etc.)

Analyze metrics and feedback to iterate on marketing and product strategies

Collaborate with product and engineering teams on feature launches, user feedback, and roadmap alignment

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

Enrolled in a Master’s program in Marketing, Business, Product Management, Communications, or related field

Passion for startups, social impact, and community-driven solutions

Familiarity with social media marketing, content creation, SEO, and email marketing tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Analytical mindset with comfort using tools like Google Analytics, Surveys, or CRM platforms

Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and own projects independently

 

Bonus Points

Prior experience with early-stage startups, marketplace apps, or community-focused products

Graphic design or content creation skills (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite)

Knowledge of product management frameworks or agile methodologies
