We are currently seeking a motivated Information Technology Intern to join our team for a project-driven internship experience.
What You’ll Do
As an IT Intern, your primary focus will be spearheading a project to inventory and manage our legacy IT equipment stored in three different storage locations. This includes:
- Creating a comprehensive catalog of outdated or non-functional IT hardware.
- Assessing the condition and usability of equipment.
- Coordinating with certified buyback and recycling vendors to responsibly dispose of or resell equipment.
- Ensuring secure data destruction of devices with storage components, including arranging shredding or certified data wiping services.
- Documenting and tracking all actions for compliance and future reference.
In addition to the main project, you’ll gain exposure to core IT operations, including:
- Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding (account setup, device provisioning, returns).
- Helping monitor and respond to IT inquiries through our ticketing system.
- Supporting ongoing projects such as our SharePoint cloud migration.
- Participating in routine troubleshooting and documentation efforts.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Interest or experience in IT asset management or vendor coordination.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SharePoint and inventory software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and document information clearly.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing to a team environment.
