Summer Hospitality Internship

 Job Title: Summer Hospitality Intern

Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Summer Hospitality Intern to join our team for the summer season. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the hospitality industry, including guest services, event coordination, operations, and marketing. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to develop their skills and start a career in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations, inventory, and answering guest inquiries through email and social media.

     
  • Support event coordination and logistics for on-site events, meetings, and conferences.

     
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.

     
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth operations, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services.

     
  • Assist with managing guest requests and making sure they have a memorable experience.

     
  • Participate in promotional activities and help create content for social media, newsletters, or marketing materials.

     
  • Assist in troubleshooting guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner.

     
  • Shadow and support senior staff with various managerial and operational tasks.

     

Requirements:

  • Current student or recent graduate with a focus on hospitality, tourism, or related field.

     
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

     
  • Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor.

     
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

     
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

     
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

     
  • Proficiency in Google suite and Toast POS required.

     
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus, but not required.
