Title: Board of Directors Development Volunteer

Organization: Heart Spark Research & Innovation Institute


 

Overview:

Play a critical behind-the-scenes role in helping build a strong, diverse, and visionary board. Support the systems that keep our leadership growing.


 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with outreach to prospective board members

• Help update onboarding, bio, and nomination documents

• Track terms, roles, and participation across board service

• Coordinate scheduling and communications with board advisors


 

Qualifications:

• Strong administrative or HR skills

• Interest in governance, nonprofit leadership, or DEI

• Detail-oriented and professional


 

Time Commitment: 5–10 hours/week, flexible; minimum 3-month commitment preferred
