Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues.
Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through five core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting, and effective decision-making. Resilience, Inc. also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, and overall well-being.

Resilience offers unpaid internship programs that require at least a 4 month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement
Although this is an unpaid internship, there is the opportunity to earn school credit. Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Mobile App User Tester intern to join our App Dev team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of mobile app testing and contribute to the improvement of our cutting-edge mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
As a User Tester intern at Resilience, you will have the following responsibilities:
Functional Testing: Test the app's functionalities, features, and interactions to ensure they meet specified requirements.
Usability Testing: Evaluate the overall user experience of the app and provide feedback on its ease of use, intuitiveness, and accessibility.
Issue Reporting: Identify and report any defects, glitches, or inconsistencies in the app's performance, UI/UX, or functionality.
Documentation: Maintain clear and organized documentation of test cases, test results, and any issues discovered during testing.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers and other team members to effectively communicate issues, provide detailed bug reports, and participate in troubleshooting sessions.
Feedback: Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improving the app's functionality, design, and user experience.
Regression Testing: Assist in regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved and do not reappear in subsequent app versions.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Basic Understanding: A basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and document issues accurately.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to articulate issues and collaborate with the development team.
Enthusiasm: A passion for mobile apps and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Previous Experience: Previous experience in mobile app testing or a related field is preferred but not required.
