Job Purpose

This intern/co-op position supports the technical center laboratory with products such as Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valves, Coolers, High Voltage Coolant Heaters, and other products as needed. The successful candidate will report to the Lab Supervisor and assist with prototype data collection, lab organization, test setup, and various other tasks. This position offers excellent hands-on experience for those looking to train for a career as a lab technician or mechanic in the automotive industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

Lab tasks included, but not limited to:

  • Lab organization
  • Prototype data collection
  • Test set-up, data collection set-up
  • Teardown support, part review/photograph, problem solving
  • Part Measurement
  • Data download/formatting

 

What we are looking for

Education & Experience:

  • High School degree required
  • Student working towards an Associate’s degree or higher, preferably in an area of technical skills
