Co-op Student, Purchasing & Supplier Quality

A highly motivated and analytical Co-op Student is sought to join the Purchasing and Supplier Quality teams. This is a high-profile, business-critical role that offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in supply chain management while working directly with external suppliers. The Co-op Student will be responsible for gathering and interpreting key supplier data, communicating directly with suppliers while reporting progress to key Joyson stakeholders. This position is required through the end of 2025.

What’s in it for you?

  • Gather and compile key supplier performance data from various sources.
  • Analyze and interpret data.
  • Work directly with suppliers to collect data, follow up and communicate performance expectations.
  • Monitor supplier progress
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date supplier documentation.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing supplier performance for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Purchasing and Supplier Quality) to ensure seamless communication.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Here’s What You Need…

  • 1 -2 years Business Major, Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form.
  • Strong time management skills.  
  • Strong leadership skills.  
  • Proven track record that includes working collaboratively. 
  • Self-motivated, able to perform role with minimal supervision, taking ownership and demonstrate sense of urgency.  
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.  
  • Ability to work in a team environment to consistently achieve results.  
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
