Java/Python/OOPEngineer


The ideal candidate will have:
·Intermediate SQL experience
·Intermediate -> Advanced coding in Java/Python or any other OOP
·Strong communication skills
·BA in Business/Finance/Economics/Computer Science/Information Systems or related fields
o   With preference given to advanced degree holders
Roles and responsibilities:
·Investigating issues in our trading stack using SQL to diagnose the loci of the issues and subsequently communicating with teams needed to fix issues as they arise
·Interpreting Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
·Communicating with stakeholders to determine accuracy of written business procedures
·Communicating with clients to keep them abreast of development work
A background in business
Preferably from a major financial institution
·Contributing to our automation codebase through development in Java/Python
·Keeping track of issues identified using JIRA and multiple databases (MYSQL/Oracle)


Nice to haves:
·Financial Knowledge
·Experience presenting results in a group setting to senior stakeholders
·CAT/OATS
·Knowledge of FIX protocol
