This experience in a large firm allowed the development of skills within many areas of the industry. I gained an understanding of the PR firm business model and how to manage client relations on top of day-to-day PR tasks.

What I liked
What I love the most about being an intern abroad was how different the experience was. I had to explore the city everyday after my internship.
What I wish was different
Nothing. I would not have changed anything.
Advice
I would recommend everyone to take an internship or study abroad. It really is life changing and you’ll get so much from it.

What I liked
From the very beginning, you are paired with a manager who is there to answer any questions you have (whether about the client, the business or culture). You are treated like an assistant account executive from the start and get real-world experience that many of your classes may not have touched on.
What I wish was different
I wish I was exposed to other sectors of Edelman outside of health. Once you are assigned a practice, you'll have a few informative sessions with other sectors, but hardly get the chance to work within them.
Advice
Ask questions! Your colleagues truly want you to have the best experience and will notice your interest in learning more about the work.
