I enjoyed my internship because the work gave me hands-on and practical experience for the foundry. I had the opportunity to work on projects to evaluate and improve chemistry specifications and improve melting efficiency. The projects I worked on made a difference in the company and helped me learn more in my field.

Be open to trying new things and learning outside of your discipline. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
