Working here as a Physical Therapy Aide, I get the chance to shadow and interact with patients who are in rehabilitation for various different reasons. I enjoy how friendly all of the therapists are, and how they go out of their way to explain what they are doing so students like me can learn through their experience here.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had the chance to work with a few patients and see how they grow rather than seeing new patients everyday. Although I enjoy meeting new patients and seeing why they are here, I enjoy seeing how patients progress through out their rehabilitation.
Advice
One piece of advice that I would share is to take initiative. The more you ask questions and ask to observe, the more knowledge you get out of the experience. While people think it may get boring at times, there is always something to do and always somewhere to learn.
