I loved how they showed me different aspects of Human Resources because this was my first internship.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have been able to go into the office instead of working from home because I could have made better connections and probably learned more.
Advice
Try to get as many internships as possible even if you are only a sophomore because I wish that I had the chance to have more than one summer internship and would have learned so much more.

What I liked
I was able to work independently on my own project that would have an impact on the company, as well as help with other projects with other members of the team. I had help when I needed but was allowed to work independently and make my own decisions.
What I wish was different
I wish I could've been able to see more of what other labs/R&D areas were doing to get a larger scope of the business.
Advice
Ask a lot questions, and if there's something you're interested in learning more about or working on, definitely mention it to your manager/mentor so you can get as much out of your experience as possible.

A ton of hands-on experience right away. I was also trusted with some high level projects and told to implement change as I saw fit.
What I wish was different
There was some mundane tasks that had automation opportunities but were shot down by management or set on the back burner.

Get ready to work hard and work smart.

What I liked
Company culture is really cool. Flexible hours during the summer (half-days on Fridays). Everyone is really nice.
What I wish was different
I wish the ERP system wasn't from the 80s. It is not very user friendly and makes the work a lot harder than it needs to be. The job can be quite repetitive, so if you don't like that it can be boring.
Advice
If you can handle a job where you do the same thing every day you will probably do well at Kerry. Get to know the other interns so you at least can have some fun at lunch.
