What I liked
I worked in their sub-section Mass Electric Construction Company. My job title was Field/Office Engineer, and I worked on a project that was building a 66-acre solar field that contained 43,000 solar panels which produced 17.5 Mega Watts. This was the kind of internship where I truly learned more than I could have ever imagined. I gained an enormous amount of knowledge pertaining to the infrastructure of a solar field. Being a mechanical engineering student, I had very limited knowledge when it came to electrical systems and renewable energy. But, with the help of my amazing team, I was able to learn about every component and how they were installed throughout the entire project. I can't even express how welcome I felt coming into this internship, everyone I met was always more than happy to help me with any problem or question I ever had.
