I liked the culture of the company and the people I worked with. Everyone was knowledgable and friendly and made the experience a positive one.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been more in-depth work experience to get involved in. Because of legal and regulatory limits, the scope of my work was not the same as first year, entry level analysts.
Advice
Keeping an open mind is my biggest piece of advice. Always be willing to explore every door and see what you can learn and who you can meet.

Corporate Insurance and Risk Management Intern
June - August 2018 • New York City, NY
What I liked
I liked that the people really stood by their open door policy. Everyone was open to answering questions that I had about their specific work fields and there was an inclusive community that was formed around all interns.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had tried a different sector within the organization itself. Perhaps Moody's Investor Services just so I could get a real taste for the heart of the organization and what it does.
Advice
Learn how you best work and find the little thing that inspires you to get through each and everyday. It can get a bit redundant at times depending on the workload you have for a specific week. Therefore, taking the time to just reflect and prioritize self-care is really important.
