As an urban public school district, our mission is to prepare all students to excel in college, career, and life. With 65 elementary, 13 middle, 9 high, 1 virtual school, and 13 alternative programs, we serve more than 51,000 students in a welcoming, diverse community. We are the 3rd largest employer in Nebraska, with ~7,500 full-time staff who support the daily operation of our schools.
