I enjoyed the working with the other engineers and interns, everybody there was great to work with.
What I wish was different
More work to do. There were times I had nothing to do if I didn't find something.
Advice
Communicate often to the Engineers and ask a lot of questions - that's the only way you'll learn.

Engineering Co-op
May - August 2019 • Sharonville, OH
What I liked
I enjoyed the freedom I had at StandardAero. I was in control over how much I wanted to grow as an engineer and what type of role I was going to play at the company.
What I wish was different
I wished the organization would have been a bit better. It’s such a large company that sometimes the co-ops get lost in the mix. There is always real work to be done, you just have to ask for it.
Advice
Take initiative and don’t be afraid to ask questions. There is a lot of work done at StandardAero so it can seem overwhelming at first, but just learn as much as you can and it will really start to pay off around halfway through your term.

Engineering intern
May 2018 • Cincinnati, OH
What I liked
It is one of my best and interesting experience as a Future Engineer. The environment is very friendly. The people are so welcoming. My co-workers are very great. There is a team of young and smart engineers I admired a lot.
What I wish was different
I think everything has been great so far.
Advice
I believe in the adage which says "experience is the best teacher". I just wish to encourage every student to get involve in an internship when an opportunity shows up.

What I liked
I really enjoyed getting out of the classroom and applying my education.
What I wish was different
I wish i had a longer opportunity to understand the repair process.
Advice
I would advise students to not be nervous because they are prepared. I was nervous because i did not think I was prepared enough for an engineering job
