Very good culture - everyone was super approachable and willing to help
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to work in the office at some point instead of completing the entire internship from home.

What I liked
The company has a great atmosphere and good people. It allowed me to work on actual work with the team from toward the beginning. Also the managers were able to work with me to improve my experience.
What I wish was different
I wish they had a little more structure to the internship in the beginning or given goals they wanted from me. But other than that it was a good experience.

What I liked
I liked being able to work with the company's live code base and make client-facing improvements. I also liked the laid-back company culture and my extremely friendly, helpful co-workers.
What I wish was different
I wish the company had provided housing - I had to stay at USM for the summer, which was usually a 40 minute commute.
Advice
Don't feel like you have to get an internship at a huge company or high-powered startup - there are plenty of tech jobs at laid-back companies like Tyler that pay well and give great job experience.
