Strategic Implementation Intern
June - July 2018 • Dallas, TX
What I liked
I liked that I got an internship in an official marketing department. The people were really nice and this was my first chance to work at a company that had a 'family' type feel. My direct supervisor and other people within the marketing department were very nice and willing to share their story of how they got to where they are. I really appreciated it.
What I wish was different
I wish my coworker had been nicer. He was another intern and we did not get along most of the time.
Advice
Take all the chances and opportunities you can because they are a great chance to learn about what you like or do not like.

Summer Research Intern
June - August 2018 • Dallas, TX
What I liked
I liked the mentor-ship of my PI, my project, the people, the environment, the campus and definitely the city. I think the best part of this internship were the connections I was able to make within the span of 10 weeks. My project, really challenged me, not only in doing new experiments but also recreating old methods with simple materials since I was in a new lab.
What I wish was different
I wish, I could've adventured more into Dallas and see it's different museums and art.
Advice
Even if an experiment fails many times you only need to be lucky once.
