What I liked
The work was mostly in the lab, and provided varied experience as well as time to explore other areas of work. The pay was good and the work atmosphere was productive but relaxed.
What I wish was different
Better communication and routes for giving feedback to HR and my department would have been nice.
Advice
The experience was great for a first internship, but a little disappointing in workload and complexity of assignments. There was often little to do, and assignments were mundane.

What I liked
I liked all the people that I worked with. They are all very nice and easy to talk to whenever you have any issues. There were also opportunities to see other people's work, not just your own.
What I wish was different
Personally I worked on a project that wasn't particularly interesting to me, so I wish I could've had more of a choice in that. But honestly I don't think that's really possible.
Advice
Make sure you talk to you supervisor and mentor so you know what you are doing ahead of time and keep up with them. They are willing to help if you ask.
